You know those projects that you love, but only for a second? Or maybe you only really like a small part of a certain project. Well, here are some of those projects that deserve to get at least some attention, but not worth all of the attention.

Lift Heavy. Think Less.

DESCRIPTION:
A simple barbell weight cheat sheet—designed to remove friction and keep focus on the lift. Created and inspired by the culture of my home gym and the use of that unique, bold Rogue Fitness logo, it reflects an appreciation for gear built to be used. Driven by a practical need for quick, visual plate reference, this project translates functional training tools into a clean, branded-feel design.

Disclaimer: Not affiliated with or endorsed by Rogue Fitness; independently created for personal use with Rogue Echo V2 bumper plates and shared as a design exercise.

Rival Brand Training Mixed Media 2—28

DESCRIPTION:
This project began as a practical need, a mounting board for a new clock, and evolved into a study in resourcefulness and brand identity in my home gym. Using scrap proofs from previous Rival Brand projects, I repurposed discarded print materials into a layered mixed media composition. What would have been waste became texture, color, and a story display.

Mounted to plywood as a structural base, the paper fragments were arranged intentionally, creating depth through overlapping typography, cropped logos, and partial marks from past projects. The digital clock sits at the center, contrasting precision and function against the raw, tactile surface of analog materials. The result bridges time in more ways than one, physically displaying it while visually referencing Rival brand’s ethos.

This piece operates as both utility and creative expression. It demonstrates how branded resources can extend beyond their original purpose, reinforcing identity through reinvention. By transforming production scraps into a functional installation, the project reflects a mindset rooted in sustainability, problem solving, and an ongoing dialogue with the Rival Brand visual language.

Rival Brand Training Club Q1—26

DESCRIPTION:
Rival Brand Training Club is a concept brand that lives at the intersection of fitness and culture. Built on the phrase “Built By Resistance,” this project celebrates the grind, the work, the sweat, and the daily fight to become a better version of yourself..

The design language pulls from current fitness culture, and raw, motion-driven energy. It is not about perfect form or polished performance. It is about showing up, pushing yourself, and owning your transformation.

This brand direction captures Rival Brand with bold visuals and an identity that feels as powerful and unrelenting as the training itself.

Hawk Crew

DESCRIPTION:
This piece represents the foundation of Hawk Crew as family, with Poison Rules Collective serving as the extended expression of that identity. The design builds on the same visual language established in earlier releases, bold typography and a raw edge that define the brand. More than a graphic, it symbolizes loyalty, shared history, and collective growth. Rooted in Utah and Arizona, the work reflects desert resilience and tight knit community culture, translating that energy into a structured, intentional composition that honors the crew’s roots while pushing the movement forward.

Poison Rules Collective 2026

DESCRIPTION:
An evolution of the original 2023 release, this 2026 edition revisits the skull motif that defined the first drop while refining the overall design language. The piece preserves the raw, confrontational energy of the original, introducing updated composition, sharper detailing, and more intentional typography to reflect the progression of the brand. Rooted in the same visual DNA, Collective 26 bridges influence across Arizona and Utah, balancing desert grit with a clean, structured execution that feels both grounded and elevated.

Poison Rules Red Rock

DESCRIPTION:
Created as visual assets for the Hawk Family. This collection draws directly from the red rock landscapes of Southern Utah and Arizona. A bold Red Rock illustration anchors the composition, paired with a custom Hawk mark shaped with sharp, desert-driven character. Sun-baked tones and rugged textures reflect the grit and warmth of the Southwest, giving the design a sense of place and heritage. The system extends across shirts, and stickers, turning the landscape and the idea of a Poison Rules identity into something wearable, collectible, and rooted in the red rocks that a family calls home.
